1. What content does this Station play?
A. Radio Goa plays Konkani content mainly from artists from Goa & Manglore
2.Why am I not hearing anything when I press play?
A.You are probably behind a firewall which is preventing you from listening to Radio Goa
_-Ask your Administrator to open up or forward port 8570 to listen.
3.I am trying to listen from the office and my Admin wont open the port.
_- Does it mean I wont be able to listen to Radio Goa ever?A.Good News is from Dec 1st you dont have to worry about any firewall.
_ We have managed to break through the firewall so all Konkani lovers can enjoy this service.
_ This service will be available from 1st Dec.
4.Why am I geting old News on the front page of Radio Goa?
A.Try pressing the Refresh button on your Browser.That should help, else assume we are too susegad to update it.
4.Yesterday I could listen to the stream but today I just cant Connect
Due to the popularity of RadioGoa ,listeners are flooding the server.Unfortunately sometimes we have to disconect users or disallow more conections to control the bandwidth.We will sought this out once we get a good sponsor to sponsor the bandwidth.
Please connect after sometime ,once some listeners have disconnected.
5.Who pays for the Domain ,Server,Bandwidth ect?
A. Right now I am bearing the entire cost.It cost hundreds of dollars for the bandwith to maintain this service.
6. How can I help?
