However,there is so much to Goa, and its been a wonder that no other world city has called itself the Goa of the west, and it is time to change that!.With this in mind Organizer Armando Gonsalves along with Heritage Jazz held the 'Konkani Rocks' concert at Goa Velha on 3rd Dec.The event had some stuning perfomances by Goan,Indian and International artists.
Some of the noteworthy performances included Saskia Laroo, the magical trumpeter from Netherlands,the virtuoso violin player, violin chakaravarthy gold medal winner S. Harikumar from Kerala ,Goa's own Sonia Shirsat,India’s top lead guitarist and composer Amit Heri ,Sigmund de Souza along with Carlos Gonsalves on percussion, Rocky Lazarus on bass many others.The beautifully lit 140 year old Goa Velha Chruch was the backdrop for the event.
